Job Description: Home Manager Salary: £85,000–£90,000 per annum
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established care provider for an experienced Home Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a residential care home.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and commercially focused leader with a proven track record of delivering outstanding person-centred care, achieving regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the daily operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Deliver outstanding person-centred care while maintaining full CQC compliance.
- Manage budgets, occupancy, financial performance, and resource planning.
- Recruit, lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing staff team.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures and health & safety requirements are fully implemented.
- Monitor care plans, medication management, audits, and quality assurance systems.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Lead inspections and maintain inspection readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement through effective governance and performance management.
- Develop local marketing initiatives to increase occupancy and promote the home within the community.
Essential Requirements - Previous experience as a Home Manager within a residential or nursing care home.
- Proven record of delivering high-quality care and achieving commercial objectives.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or equivalent).
- Active NMC Registration.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and Health & Social Care legislation.
- Experience managing budgets, occupancy, recruitment, HR processes, and staff performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
