Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative (Permanent, Full-Time)

Contract: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour // £37,180 - £38,610 per annum // dependent on shift

Pay Frequency: Monthly

Location: Cheadle Hulme/Stanley Green, SK8 6QE

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday // Day and Night Shifts Available

Hours: 12-hour shifts // Days: 09:00-21:00 or Nights:19:00 - 07:00

Role Overview

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Warehouse Operatives to support the continued growth of our depot. This role will involve a variety of tasks that are essential to the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to offload, load, and move freight
• Check in and book shipments using our in-house system
• Unload and load freight from both company and third-party vehicles, including double-deck trailers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Perform a variety of ad hoc warehouse-related tasks as required

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Excellent Forklift Truck operating skills - essential
• Proven experience in warehouse operations
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• A passion for physical, varied work
• AVSEC CO Trained
