Job Description:

Worcester Podiatry has been a trusted name in the community for over 30 years, delivering high-quality podiatry care.

Now under new management, the clinic is entering an exciting new phase. Directors Patty and Ed, who bring a wealth of experience from the commercial and charity sector, are driving this transformation to build on the clinic's strong legacy and take it to new heights. We are committed to creating a cutting-edge practice that combines innovation with compassionate, patient-centred care.

However, it’s not just about treatments—we are equally focused on building a supportive, empowering team culture that encourages every member to grow both professionally and personally. This is an incredible time to join Worcester Podiatry, as we are at the inception of something truly great.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, patient-focused clinic that values innovation and personal development.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone to manage our busy reception, 2 days a week (primarily Monday and Tuesday from 9am-5.30pm, with opportunity for occasional overtime).

To be successful in this role you will be someone who takes pride in delivering an exceptional experience at every stage, and understands that outstanding patient care goes beyond the treatment room.

As part of our Administration Team, you will be dedicated to delivering everything from a smooth and friendly booking process, to a warm welcome on arrival and compassionate approach to administrative support for our patients.

You will be computer literate, and comfortable using online booking systems, Google and Microsoft applications. Training will be provided for all business applications and processes, but you will have some experience in an office setting where you have delivered outstanding customer service.

As a small, close-knit business, your ability to contribute positively to the team is imperative. We all pitch in and support one another to ensure things run smoothly and have a culture based on collaboration, flexibility, and a shared commitment to putting patients first.

Not sure you have enough experience? Don’t worry, if you're someone who’s proactive, people-focused, and ready to be part of a team that truly works together, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Requirements:

You’ll need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence in interacting with patients both in person and over the phone
  • Strong awareness of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive medical and patient information
  • A good level of computer literacy, with confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
  • Experience/confidence using online booking systems and other digital tools
  • Comfortable in processing both cash and card payments accurately
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to stay calm and multitask during busy periods
  • A flexible attitude with a willingness to support colleagues and work as part of a close-knit team
  • Willingness to cover team absence and annual leave from time to time as needed
  • Reliability and punctuality, with a strong sense of responsibility
  • A willingness to assist with all aspects of office-related administration, including stock monitoring and keeping the reception area tidy

What we offer

  • An hourly rate that reflects the Real Living Wage Foundation at £12.60 per hour (increasing to £13.45 from April 2026)
  • 29 days of paid holiday per year (pro-rata including Bank Holidays) increasing with yearly length of service
  • 5 days enhanced sickness pay per year (pro-rata)
  • Pension scheme
  • Support and training in all areas of business administration
  • Opportunity for increased hours and development as the business grows
  • Beautiful village location, providing a pleasant work environment
  • Supportive company culture where every team member is valued and encouraged to grow both personally and professionally
  • A workplace that offers a work life balance
