About the role
As the face of MAB, you’ll be the one to make a great first impression. You’ll ensure anyone who walks through the front door or communicates with MAB, feels welcome and receives an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive. You will work closely with the Exec Board PA and People team. You’ll also play a key part in making MAB an amazing place to work, responsible for the smooth running of the office, along with general administration and internal comms, so that everyone knows what’s going on at HQ.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet employees, visitors and guests - responsible for creating an outstanding first impression of MAB
- Answer the phones, take messages and direct to the appropriate person or team
- Keep our reception area tidy and presentable
- Manage, distribute and re-direct the post, including the organisation of couriers
- Be responsible when using the company credit card and manage the reconciliation
- Monitor and respond to Reception emails
- Manage ordering of gifts and flowers
- Monitor and manage the parking at HQ
- Support with diary management for internal and external meetings
- Manage travel and accommodation bookings for Non-Exec employees
- Support the People Team with ad hoc requests, including incorporating culture initiatives and events into the workplace
- Be responsible for front door security
- Manage and be responsible for the weekly shopping order for the running of the tuck shop and the Company breakfast order and fruit order
About You
- Experience as Front of House or Receptionist within a professional office environment
- A positive attitude and great energy, with a desire to create an amazing first impression
- A polished, professional and confident personality
- Approachable and empathetic
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships within the business, at all levels of seniority
- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail
- A willingness to ‘roll your sleeves up’ and get involved
- Solid Microsoft Office suite skills (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)
- A proven ability to work effectively to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
- An ability and willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Interview Process
Screening calls will take place week commencing 6th and 13th October, followed by a competency based interview at our Derby office.
