Hotel Night Receptionist – 45 Hours per Week | Wokingham (RG40)

Permanent | In-Person Role

We’re looking for a Hotel Night Receptionist to join the team at a stunning 4-star hotel in Wokingham. If you’ve got experience in a similar role and enjoy providing excellent customer service, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming, professional team where no two nights are the same.

The Role:

As a Night Receptionist, you’ll be the friendly face guests meet on arrival, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and a smooth check-in experience. You’ll also handle night audit duties (full training provided), keep the hotel secure, and make sure everything is ready for the next day’s guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and checking guests in/out, handling payments, and managing reservations
• Running the night audit and ensuring financial reports are accurate
• Responding to guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Carrying out fire and security checks throughout the night
• Supporting other departments when required (including food & beverage assistance)
• Completing some light cleaning in public areas to ensure the hotel is guest-ready each morning

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous hotel reception or hospitality experience (essential)
• Knowledge of Opera PMS systems (ideal but not essential)
• Great customer service and communication skills
• Reliability and the ability to work shifts between 10PM–7AM / 12AM–9AM
• A friendly, professional manner and a can-do attitude
