Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate/Rug Handler and
Driver to join our team. This dual-role position is integral to our operations, ensuring that
rugs are handled, stored, shipped, and installed with the utmost care.
The role involves managing warehouse operations, delivering products, and installing rugs
at clients’ homes, supporting Monday through Friday operations from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment, strong organizational
skills, a customer service-oriented mindset, and the physical ability to lift and move heavy
objects. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
Qualifications:
• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
• Previous warehouse experience, ideally within rugs, textiles, or similar environments, is
an advantage
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items (up to 40kg) and carry out manual
work for extended periods
• Basic IT skills, including the ability to use stock management and order processing
systems
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as order pickers or pallet trucks is a
plus
