Job Description: About the opportunity:
We are working as the internal recruitment partner for our client, a global organisation providing specialist logistics solutions to the aerospace industry.
We are seeking a professional and proactive Receptionist to join our team and become the face and voice of our organisation. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth running of our reception area and delivering a consistently positive experience to all visitors, clients, and colleagues.
As the first point of contact, you will play a key part in upholding our company's image, supporting day-to-day operations, and coordinating a range of administrative and facilities-related tasks
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome all visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, presentable, and welcoming at all times
- Handle incoming calls, direct enquiries appropriately, and support with general switchboard duties
- Organise visitor access and coordinate site visits, including the provision of refreshments and meeting arrangements
- Manage diary bookings for meeting rooms and assist in the organisation of internal and customer-facing events
- Arrange national and international travel for senior leadership and wider teams, ensuring cost-efficiency and attention to detail
- Support the Facilities Manager with procurement and coordination tasks for the facility and cleaning teams
- Carry out additional administrative duties and provide cross-departmental support when required
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house or administrative role
- Confident using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and diary management tools
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive information
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision while being a strong team player
- Customer-focused, approachable, and solutions-oriented
- Must live within a commutable distance to the site in West Horndon.

- Working hours - Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 12pm.
