About the role
As a warehouse operative, being flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment is essential. You should be hardworking, able to work to set deadlines, and have a professional, positive, organized, and enthusiastic approach. While proven experience in a warehouse environment would be advantageous, it is not essential. You should be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. Remember, the key to success is being self-motivated.

Operatives will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, working any five from seven days on a variety of shift patterns, so there will be Saturday or Sunday working dependent on rotas. Overtime is regularly available too, but not guaranteed. Days are on a double days shift pattern 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.
The role involves manual handling of weights up to 25kg and using material handling equipment such as low level order pickers, pump/pallet trucks and reach trucks.

As a member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for picking, receiving, storing, stacking and despatching our ambient and chilled goods.
Your commitment to safety, efficiency, and effectiveness will be crucial in ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.
You will need
It will also be advantageous to have previous warehouse experience and have a PPT and LLOP licence, though full training will be given.
