We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations within the warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders in a timely manner
Load and unload deliveries using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet truck, forklift if certified)
Carry out stock checks and inventory counts
Ensure goods are stored in the correct location and maintain stock accuracy
Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
Report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor
Follow company procedures and processes at all times
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines
Operate handheld scanners and basic warehouse management systems (if applicable)
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred but not essential)
Good level of physical fitness (manual handling required)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Flexibility with working hours/shifts
Forklift licence (desirable, not essential)
