Job Description:

Customer Service Coordinator

Location: Newton Aycliffe

Salary: up to £30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday (office hours)

Type: Temp to Perm

Imperial Recruitment Group are working with a global organisation based in Newton Aycliffe

Duties:

Work closely with logistics and supply chain to ensure orders are expedited on time and in full

Resolve product/service queries by clarifying customer complaints and acting accordingly to investigate and resolve

Update customer price lists when price changes occur

Manage incoming calls and ensure that all customer demands are met promptly

Direct customer queries to the relevant party

Check inventory on hand on a daily basis to ensure customer forecast is on plan

Participate in daily meetings with despatch, production and commercial sales team to address any problems which may arise

Work closely with external Account Managers to keep ahead of customer activity and requirements.

Respond promptly to customer inquiries whilst keeping customer informed

Ensure all customer orders are entered accurately onto the SAP system to generate sales order in line with departmental KPI

Recommend and proactively contact customers to generate interest in new products and services.

Liaise with the Finance department on invoices that are due for payment and follow up accordingly with customers highlighting any concerns over payment with the commercial team and supporting to resolve issues.

Creation of new customer accounts in SAP

Communicate to customers any changes to their order status and of any potential problems affecting supply.

Requirements:

Intermediate SAP and Excel user including knowledge and understanding of SAP specifically related to Sales Order modules.

Knowledge of Excel and other MS systems, particularly related to interpreting and presenting data in the form of KPIs

Previous experience of end to end Customer Account Management is essential.

Knowledge and understanding of Export documentation requirements (Desirable)
